Skilled Labourer

Lake Excavating Ltd. is looking for skilled labourers to join our growing team and work on various projects in the Williams Lake, BC area. If you have experience in civil pipe installation, shallow underground install, earthworks, mining, or road construction, we want to hear from you!

Lake Excavating Ltd. is one of Western Canada’s largest and most respected earthworks and civil infrastructure contractors with over 60 years of experience in earthworks, road construction, underground and surface works, delivering projects of all sizes for clients in a variety of industries.

What we require:

· You must reside currently in the Williams Lake area and be eligible to work in Canada.

· You must pass mandatory pre-access drug screen and complete a quantitative respiratory fit test.

· You must demonstrate experience conducting manual labour working on various jobsites, with preference to civil pipe installation and on active mining sites with limited supervision and direction.

· You must have a Class 5 Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and ability to provide a clean drivers abstract.

· You must have the ability to read and interpret civil drawings.

· You must have the ability to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions and manage up to 50lbs.

· You must have a stable work record with experience in an industrial, civil, or mining environment.

· You must have the ability to work both day and night shifts if required.

· You must have the ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors.

· You must have the willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training.

· You must have strict attention and compliance to safety, equipment cleanliness, maintenance and completing logs.
