Skilled Labourer - Williams Lake, BC

Lake Excavating Ltd. is looking for Skilled Labourers to join our growing team and work on various projects in the Williams Lake, BC area. If you have experience in civil pipe installation, shallow and deep underground install, earthworks, mining, or road construction, we want to hear from you!

What we require:

• Be eligible to work in Canada with a preference for candidates who reside in Williams Lake, BC and area.
• You must pass mandatory Pre-Access Drug Screen (including THC) and complete a Quantitative Half Mask Respiratory Fit Test.
• You must demonstrate experience conducting manual labour working on various jobsites, with preference to civil pipe installation and on active mining sites with limited supervision and direction.
• You must have a Class 5 Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and ability to provide a clean drivers abstract.
• You must have the ability to read and interpret civil drawings.
• You must have the ability to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions and manage up to 50lbs.
• You must have a stable work record with experience in an industrial, civil, or mining environment.
• You must have the ability to work both day and night shifts if required which includes shifts longer than 8-hour days and working weekends.
• You must have the ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors.
• You must have the willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training.
• Interact positively with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
• You must have strict attention and compliance to safety, equipment cleanliness, maintenance and completing logs.
